Memento is definitely someone to watch! After great releases on labels such as Global Underground and remixes for Luetzenkirchen and Bush II Bush, the German producer strikes back with a brand new E.P., which contains a wide variety of tracks. Call it Techhouse, call it Progressive - or is that even Trance??! We do not know - that's up to you. But we know for sure: This tracks rock!

“Blank Images“ and “Room 3113“ are two great tunes with brilliant synth lines. Our insider tip on this e.p. is “Riots In Bad Oldesloe“, a cooperation of Memento and Steve Nomac. This is a massive techy track with a gigantic groove and fantastic melodic lines. We love it! Not to forget “Remember Me“, another techy track with a cool vibe - deep with its groovy synth line.

”Room 3113“: My least favourite of the group. The bass line is too aggressive for my taste. ”Riots In Bad Oldesloe“: My top favourite of these. This will make an excellent set started. The sound is diverse enough that I will be able to use it to open a variety of sets. I very like the simply groove it has. I expect this to be in 3 out of 4 sets I play for the next few weeks. ”Remember Me“: Interesting tune. It does not seem especially diverse, and I can only imagine it being played before and after certain songs. I will need to wait to key it out to be sure - but it sounds like it could be in a minor key, which makes it a huge minority in my tune list.”

”I really like Memento! Out of the 4 tracks, the most usable for me is “Blank Images”. It some how reminds me of Bizarre Love Triangle by New Order. Love it! Personal favourite is “Room 3113” with its very moody House sound and a bit of Tech. I like “Remember Me”, to a lesser degree, with its more techy sound. I am not a big fan of the trancy melodic arrangement though I have to say “Riots in Bad Oldesloe” still sounds nice.”
